Minutes and agenda are divided within each year by region and contain election of officer results, study reports and highlights, reports of current ministry efforts and Lutheran planning agencies, discussion of new ministries approved, consultation guidelines, and names and addresses of participants from the LCUSA church bodies.

The American Lutheran Church (1961-1987) was formed by the merger of the American Lutheran Church (1930-1960), the Evangelical Lutheran Church and the United Evangelical Lutheran Church.
